Why is it always when something is going wrong that everything as to go wrong?
I wanted to go for a walk to clear my mind after receiving bad news, and I thought: it would be nice to drink good coffee while wondering around in town. So I get my coffee ready, do the coffee-tight test of my traveling cup: guess what? it was not: the cover popped out! No matters, I was still going for the walk. I got my Ipod: NO BATTERY LEFT! The cherry on the sunday :I put my coat on, and one of the buttons stayed in my hand.
At that time I was wondering if it would be safe to get out (you know, I could slide on ice, hit by a car, stumbled on nothing... etc). But I took my courage and got out anyways: the walk was great and nothing else happened (OuF!). So I enjoyed my coffee, and the beautiful day, I even got a beaver tail pastry yummy!!
Why am I telling you all this, to put you in context of the image I want to share with you today.
Less than a week later, I got a similar day but even worst (I'll spare you the detail as they are less funny then the ones I told you about...) And a walk would not do the trick, something MAJor had to be done. So I went to the SPA!! I took a day for myself, to relax, and it was great!
So here is a sketch I did while relaxing. I did add some color in photoshop afterward to try to make it more readable for you. (as you might see on the sketch, I also painted my toes orange, that was awesome, I'm looking at my feet and I smile!)
Pourquoi quand quelque chose ne fonctionne pas, tout semble aller de travers?
J'ai voulu prendre l'air pour me changer les idées suite à de mauvaises nouvelles, je me suis dit qu'il serait agréable de boire un café en même temps. Avant de partir, j'ai voulu vérifier que ma tasse était étanche... Elle ne l'était pas, le couvert a complètement sauté!!
Je prends mon ipod: PAs de batterie!!! Un peu découragée, mais toujours déterminée à sortir, je mets mon manteau et un de mes boutons me reste dans les mains!! Là, je commençais à être un peu inquiète... qu'est-ce qui m'attendait par la suite: glisser sur de la glace, me faire frapper par une voiture, trébucher sur rien... Mais j'ai pris mon courage à deux mains et je suis allée prendre ma marche qu'en même. Elle fut agréable et sans évènement négatif. OUF! Je me suis même payée la traite avec une queue de castor.
Pourquoi est-ce que je vous conte tout ça: pour vous mettre en contexte sur l'image que je veux partager avec vous aujourd'hui.
Donc moins d'une semaine après, j'ai eu une journée similaire en pire, et une marche n'allait pas être suffisante... Je suis donc allée passer une après-midi au SPA!! J'ai pris soin de moi, j'Ai relaxé et c'était super!
